Successful event with auction in Bergen to donate money for rehabilitation purposes in Lviv, Ukraine

ABOUT THE EVENT

The cultural event with auction on 18th June was the first event hosted by Weave the World. The location was Kulturhuset in Bergen (Eng: The Cultural House). We managed to collect ca 5 950 EUR through the auction. The money will be donated to Lviv for rehabilitation purposes.

The following clothes brands from Ukraine were sold through the auction:
Alona Cini | Vikele Studio | Jeisoni | Marta Brown | Oliz | Gushka | Kristina Laptso | Motyv | The Coat |  BETTER US | Apsara | Olga Shyrai | Limarenko | Aisenberg | Tsvite Teren | Shevko

We are very happy that Marta Bochan and Lyubov Ustinov from West Ukrainian Fashion Industry Cluster cohosted the event together, representing Lviv Academy of Arts, with us in Weave the World. They actually travelled the long distance from Lviv to Bergen to be with us.

Program with a good mix

Weave the World and the  delivered a program with a good mix of content. The moderator and the auctioneer were both professional and experienced who delivered their contributions pro bono, and we are very grateful for that.
We had great contributions from a good mix of Ukrainian and Norwegian resources:
Moderator: Siri Lill Mannes, one of the most experienced conference moderators in Norway, moderated the event.

The following contributed to the program:
Auctioneer: Inger Elisabeth Mohn
Ukrainian choir: Kvitka Dusha
Singer: Arne Møller
Singer: Sam-Phillip Andersen
Rock band: Snais.

Furthermore, in cooperation with the producer of the Ukrainian film “The hardest hour” we showed the film during the event.

There were many guests with a little entrance fee. Thanks to the audience the atmosphere was very good. We video recorded during the event, and here is the result.
